Our client, a prestigious international law firm, seeks an experienced Company Secretarial Manager to join its team. This firm is renowned for advising high-net-worth individuals, investors, family offices and charitable organisations worldwide, guiding them through complex transactions and critical personal and business matters. Known for its supportive, people-first approach, the firm offers a flexible, hybrid work model with around two days per week in the office, encouraging collaborative and strategic thinking across teams.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful Company Secretarial Manager, you will lead the London-based company secretarial team, providing consistent governance support across departments and maintaining a strong client service standard. The role involves managing essential corporate transactions, drafting resolutions, updating statutory registers and handling client correspondence.

Key Duties

Supporting company reorganisations, conducting due diligence, forming new companies, preparing dormant accounts and overseeing annual compliance filings. As a mentor, you will guide junior team members and ensure efficient, accurate completion of various filings. Additionally, the role requires close client engagement and will involve managing billing and collections related to company secretarial services.

Hybrid Working

Roughly two days per week each week in the office. Occasional extra according to business requirements. 

Required Skills and Experience

This position requires a CGI qualified professional with approximately 8-10 years’ relevant experience, an in-depth understanding of the Companies Act 2006 and a strong background in company secretarial work. Essential skills include effective team leadership, strong communication, solid drafting abilities and the ability to handle a high-volume caseload. Experience with Diligent Entities, multi-platform Companies House filings and relationship building with clients is highly desirable.
