- Acting as the business support's main point of contact for foster carers, building strong relationships and providing high-quality support.
- Tracking and managing foster carer training records, health appointments, and other key compliance documentation.
- Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets and reports for management.
- Liaising with external parties to complete reference checks and gather necessary documentation.
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and compliance are maintained across all fostering activities.
- Safeguarding Commitment: All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS check and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining strict safeguarding standards.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you’ll be engaging with foster carers, team members, and external partners.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience setting up and managing spreadsheets.
- Teamwork & Initiative: Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a hardworking team.
- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a similar role requiring organisational skills, interaction with a diverse team, and a customer-focused approach.
