Position: Electrical Engineer
Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)
Shift: Dayshift with 1/5 weeks on call
Salary: Up to 38k - 40k per annum + Benefits

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
  • On-call standby rate: 190 per week
  • Call-out: 4 hours minimum at 1.5/2 time

About the Role:
As a key member of our Estates team, you'll deliver top-notch building maintenance services to our hospital and satellite sites. Your role will encompass reactive, project, and scheduled maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment at all times
  • Perform PPMs and daily checks of allocated plant areas
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Respond to and complete incoming work orders
  • Assist in installation projects as instructed by the Estates Manager
  • Support various projects as needed

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds or NVQ)
  • 18th Edition and Level 2 City and Guilds or equivalent
  • Experience in a hospital or similar environment
  • Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety, COSHH, Lifting and Handling, and Fire regulations
