Sonic Summary

The Maintenance Engineer position is located in Canary Wharf, requiring day shift work from 7am to 7pm.
Candidates should have completed a full-time apprenticeship in electrical or Building Services HVAC discipline and possess relevant certifications such as City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3.
The role involves carrying out planned maintenance tasks, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs on plant or machinery as directed by the Engineering Supervisor.
Previous experience in a modern building services maintenance environment is essential, along with a basic understanding of HVAC and building services.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates with at least two years of relevant experience are preferred.

Maintenance EngineerDay Shift Location - Canary WharfHours of Work - 7am - 7pm Job Summary:The Maintenance Engineer will be required to undertake maintenance tasks as directed by the Engineering Supervisor.The Maintenance Engineer will work with a small team of maintenance staff on a rotating day shift rota. They will carry out planned maintenance tasks and varied unscheduled work.Main Responsibilities:

To identify and diagnose faults and to carry out repairs, adjustments and other maintenance works as appropriate.
To carry out the required routine servicing, repair or adjustment of plant or machinery in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule as tasked by the Engineering Supervisors, Building Services Manager and FM Helpdesk
To adopt a flexible approach in respect of other skills or trades to ensure the most cost effective completion of all tasks.

The Person:

Full time apprenticeship in an electrical or Building Services HVAC discipline complete.
City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 certification or NVQ Level 3 or a Mechanical apprenticeship would be acceptable with relevant electrical experience.
Previous experience working in a modern building services maintenance environment, and able to demonstrate basic understanding of HVAC and building services.
18th Edition desirable.
