Description
The Mechanical Project Engineer will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services and work within a team to manage and oversee the delivery of cost-effective mechanical engineering services. Responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and improving various mechanical systems such as gas-fired boilers, ventilation plants, air source heat pumps, lifts, refrigeration, and air conditioning, ensuring compliance with client requirements, good practices, and legal standards.
Profile
The successful candidate will hold a degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services and have extensive experience in the UK construction or building services sector. They will have a proven track record of managing mechanical engineers or contractors and possess broad knowledge of mechanical systems, including gas-fired boilers, ventilation plants, air source heat pumps, legionella control, lifts, refrigeration, and air conditioning. They will be responsible for organising and overseeing mechanical works to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services that meet client requirements and comply with legal standards.
