About the company: A family-owned and operated main contractor established in the 70's. They specialise in large-scale complex projects across residential, commercial, and life sciences. 

Role Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior M&E Manager to oversee the mechanical and electrical services for a large, high profile project including life sciences and commercial buildings project located in North London. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient design and installation of all M&E services, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire M&E services installation process, from design to commissioning.
  • Coordination: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of building services.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with building regulations.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs and ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing M&E services for large-scale construction projects.
