? The Role ?
As the Contributor Officer, you will collaborate closely with the Head of HR to develop and implement innovative approaches to volunteer attraction, management, and recognition. With over 2,000 dedicated volunteers, known as "Contributors," your role will be instrumental in ensuring a diverse and engaged range of individuals support our client's vital work. �?
?? Key Responsibilities ??
?? Contributor Attraction and Induction ??
- Develop and update a comprehensive recruitment and selection process for Contributor positions, tailored to different roles.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Digital team to create and maintain an engaging Contributor section on our client's website.
- Craft informative candidate packs to advertise opportunities and attract the right candidates.
- Monitor application rates and develop strategies to attract a wide range of talented individuals.
- Implement equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) monitoring activities for Contributor roles.
- Promote Contributor opportunities to the wider membership and existing Contributor cohort.
- Assist in succession planning and contribute to the induction process.
?? Contributor Engagement and Management ??
- Lead the development and execution of effective engagement strategies for Contributors.
- Maintain a comprehensive log of Contributor roles, allowing for flexible engagement approaches.
- Provide guidance and support to managers responsible for key Contributors.
- Ensure that all necessary legal agreements and contracts are in place.
- Monitor Contributor engagement and identify and address any issues.
- Deliver training to staff on effective volunteer management.
- Collaborate with IT and CRM teams to provide Contributors with easy access to information and collaborative tools.
- Identify progression opportunities for Contributors.
- Develop and manage an annual feedback process.
