An esteemed international bank is actively seeking a proficient Risk Reporting Analyst to enhance their London office. This pivotal role supports both the Senior Risk Specialist and the Head of Risk in managing and reporting on various risk-related metrics. The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical background, with a keen understanding of risk management practices within the banking sector.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the timely and accurate completion of daily and weekly risk reports, including Liquidity, FX, Fixed Income, and Limit monitoring.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end reporting processes, ensuring compliance with Group deadlines for reports .
  • Investigate and escalate limit breaches in collaboration with internal business units to the Head of Risk.
  • Monitor and implement changes to counterparty limits as per Group guidelines and prepare stress tests for regulatory documentation.
  • Enhance reporting processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A strong academic background, ideally with a numerical degree.
  • Professional qualifications in a relevant field are preferred, or a willingness to pursue such qualifications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of VBA and SQL is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional reporting and communication skills, with a proven ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Broad knowledge of banking, risk, and regulatory reporting.
