Social Account Director

Social Account Director - Social Agency - London (Hybrid) - £55k

The Agency

My client is a leading UK social media agency, working with some of the biggest brands who are killing it across social at the moment.

The Role

The team are looking for an Account Director to join their Client Services team (hybrid between social media management and client servicing) and manage multiple accounts spanning the FMCG, travel and services space.

Your main responsibiities will include:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships and expectations.
  • Lead the development and execution of tailored social media strategies.
  • Oversee and mentor 1-3 direct reports, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, from planning to post-campaign analysis.
  • Allocate and manage campaign budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Contribute to new business development, including pitches and upselling services.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and collaborate with media buying teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and emerging social media platforms.

About You

  • 5+ years managing social media accounts in an agency setting.
  • Proven leadership in mentoring junior team members.
  • Expertise in developing and executing social media campaigns across platforms.
  • Strong experience in client relationship management and presenting to clients.
  • Proficient in analytical skills and using social media tools to track performance.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation for campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
  • Ability to collaborate with creative teams and oversee content production.
  • New business development experience, including pitches and upselling.
  • Proven ability in crisis management and problem-solving under pressure.
