Job Title: Social Media Coordinator
Location: Central London – 3 days in office
Salary: £21 per hour
Job Type: 3 month contract (full-time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content such as text posts, images, videos, and stories
- Analyze social media performance using analytics tools and optimize strategies based on insights
- Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and cultivate a strong online community
- Stay informed on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance engagement
- Oversee paid social media campaigns when required, ensuring optimal performance and ROI
- Monitor key metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions, providing regular performance reports
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and content creators to strengthen brand storytelling
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must have recent experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
