Handle Recruitment are hiring a Social Media Manager to join a cutting-edge, digital first production company.Location: North LondonPay: Up to £40,000 based on experience5 days a week in the office.We're looking for a Social Media Manager who has experience working with our client's main audience (Gen Z) and can bring creative, thumb-stopping content to life. This is not your typical corporate social media role, we're seeking someone who can embody our clients brand voice, create engaging content, and think outside the box. You'll need to be hands-on with shooting (iPhone-friendly) and editing while keeping creativity as your top priority.Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute creative, engaging, and on-brand social media strategies for our Studio B channels, across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat and emerging platforms.
- Content Creation: Conceptualise, film (iPhone filming is fine), and edit content for a variety of formats (videos, stories, carousels, reels, etc.).
- Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of digital trends and incorporate them into the content you create. Be the first to jump on what's trending.
- Community Engagement: Interact authentically with our audience, respond to comments, and foster a genuine community.
- Analytics & Growth: Monitor performance metrics and optimise content to boost engagement, reach, and followers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our creative and production teams to ensure content aligns with larger projects and brand goals.
Skills and Experience:
- Platform Knowledge: Extensive experience with major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Facebook, Snapchat and LinkedIn) and a knack for using each one to its full potential.
- Creative Visionary: Someone who thrives on new ideas and approaches each project with originality and enthusiasm.
- Editing Skills: You're comfortable shooting content on your iPhone and have proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Da Vinci, or similar tools.
- Audience Fluency: You get the tone, humour, and aesthetic of our Gen Z audience and you know how to connect with the audience authentically.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for trends, visuals, and tone that match our brand.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret social media metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
- Self-Motivated: A dedicated work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience as a Social Media Manager or similar
- Education: A degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
