Are you a highly proficient administrator, with experience and a skill set for supporting committee work? Do you have good communication and organisational skills? Are you motivated and proactive? If so, Signature Recruitment is looking for a Committee Administrator to work in a leading London university. This is a full-time role starting immediately for two months with the possibility to extend. It is offered on a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and the balance from home.

As a Committee Administrator, you will be working closely with the Head of Governance, and you will be mainly responsible for the support and administration of a wide range of Committees. This will include arranging meetings, disseminating papers, minute taking and monitoring actions and ensuring all are conducted in an organised and timely manner.

Committee Administrator Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Governance
  • Supporting the Committee cycle - to include preparation of agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points
  • Coordinating meeting schedules, ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders and preparation and distribution of paperwork and documents
  • Assisting with the planning, organisation, and execution of events - specifically Committees. To include event logistics - venue bookings, catering arrangements etc
  • Maintaining Governance webpages and the Register of Policies - updating and reviewing as necessary
  • Providing other ad hoc assistance as required in order to assist the team, department and wider university
Committee Administrator Key Skills:
  • Administrative experience in supporting and servicing Committees - ideally in a Higher Education setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to be proactive and work flexibly whilst maintaining organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in IT- good Microsoft Office skills
