We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant nursery team in a lovely primary school setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing the best care and early education for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a team of 3 qualified staff members in delivering high-quality early years education and care for 12 children aged between 9 months and 3 years.
  • Assist with planning and implementing a play-based curriculum, focusing on the individual needs of each child.
  • Promote a positive and safe learning environment that encourages children to explore and develop.
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of children, following safeguarding guidelines at all times.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working with children in an early years setting (preferably with children aged 0-3 years).
  • A good understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
