Description
Interim Policy and Public Affairs ManagerLondonResponsibilities:
- Develop important policy positions through analysing data and evidence
- Produce high-quality policy briefings, reports and consultation responses
- Track and monitor policy developments
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders, including government departments, not-for-profit organisations and those with lived experiences
- Work and build relationships with MPs and civil servants, attending APPGs and select committees in parliament
- Work closely and collaborate with other teams within the charity
Profile
Interim Policy and Public Affairs ManagerLondonEssential:
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent working knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall
- Ability to produce high quality, evidence based internal and external briefing materials under time constraints
- Experience developing influencing strategies and public affairs campaigns
