Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Advisor to manage payroll operations for approximately 1000 employees across the UK and Ireland. This role is integral to the HR team, ensuring efficient and compliant payroll and benefits administration.

As the Senior Payroll Specialist, you will collaborate closely with HR colleagues to deliver seamless payroll, compensation, and benefits processes. Your expertise will ensure compliance with evolving legislation and contribute to an exceptional employee experience across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:• Employee Support: Serve as the primary contact for payroll and benefits-related HR inquiries.• Legislative Compliance: Lead the implementation of changes to ensure adherence to current payroll and benefits laws.• Portal Management: Oversee HMRC and Irish Revenue Online Services portals, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.• Exceptional Case Handling: Provide support for unique payroll, benefits, or tax-related requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.• Data Integrity: Maintain high standards of data accuracy within payroll and benefits processes.• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance end-to-end payroll and benefits operations to boost efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile:• Experience: Extensive experience managing UK payrolls, including modified payrolls and those involving multiple third parties.• Benefits Administration: Proficiency in payrolling benefits and P11Ds.• Expatriate Taxation: Hands-on experience handling expatriate taxes.• Legislative Knowledge: Deep understanding of UK payroll and tax legislation; experience managing payroll in Ireland is highly desirable.• Mindset: Collaborative, agile, and focused on continuous improvement.• Employee Focus: Strong commitment to delivering employee-centric service.• Analytical Skills: Data-driven approach, utilizing insights to enhance payroll processes and efficiency.
This hybrid role offers flexibility, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
