Compliance Officer | Specialty Insurer | London/Hybrid | £75 - 85,000 (doe)

Finitas are delighted to be partnering with a specialty insurance company in their search for a Compliance Officer to join their team. You will be reporting into the Head of Compliance and be working a varied generalist role.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing regulatory advice and guidance.
  • Developing compliance policies and procedures.
  • Designing, implementing, and delivering compliance training programmes.
  • Working on regulatory projects and completing regulatory returns and applications.
  • Being involved in financial crime / sanctions queries.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 7 years compliance experience.
  • Good working knowledge of the FCA & PRA.
  • Must have experience of working in the insurance industry - general insurance or London market.
  • Must have experience of implementing compliance policies and monitoring.
  • Expertise in financial crime.
  • Excellent stakeholder and people management skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Please note you will be required to work in their London office 3 days per week.
