Job Title: Compliance Officer (Permanent)
Location: London (Hybrid Working - 4 Days Home/1 Day Office)
Salary: £32,000
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance? We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our client on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements set by the FCA, as well as internal policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct internal audit and risk assessments with the Group Compliance Manager.
- Update Head of Insurance on the compliance monitoring program.
- Educating employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance on the organisation
- Collate and respond to SAR requests
- Work with Operations Manager to review Operational Risk register.
- Work alongside the Operational Teams team ensuring that all work is compliant.
- Assist Operations Manager in conducting QA checks on customer correspondences.
- Supporting the compliance team with implementing policies and procedures
- Assisting in the gathering of information internally in response to requests by regulatory organisations
- Educating employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance on the organisation
What you need:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Significant experience in working within the insurance sector
- Experience of working with a range of departments
- Working knowledge of the FCA and FOS rules
- Experienced in risk assessment and management
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Previous experience in a compliance officer role
