Humanitarian Programme Lead

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

We are excited to be working exclusively with a leading not-for-profit organisation, who are now seeking an experienced Humanitarian Programme Lead to join & broaden the impact of their work. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team that is deeply committed to humanitarian intervention.

You will be responsible for creating & managing programmes that support relief efforts, ensuring that all interventions are sustainable, impactful & aligned with global best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the strategic direction in response to international disasters, focusing on impactful interventions.
  • Develop & maintain effective partnerships with organisations across international regions.
  • Build & manage programmes supporting relief & recovery, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
  • Representing the organisation within the international humanitarian sector, advocating for alignment with global standards & innovations.
  • Oversee & support humanitarian projects through international travel.

About You:

  • Strong experience in the humanitarian sector with proven leadership in disaster response.
  • Working knowledge of international humanitarian policies & practices.
  • Proven experience in developing & managing partnerships with international/local agencies.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of the project cycle, including programme design, monitoring & impact evaluation.
  • Flexibility to undertake international travel as needed.
