Programme Manager - Policy Administration System Implementation (12-Month Initial Contract)

Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the City of London

Duration: 12-month initial contract (potential for multi-year extension)

Day Rate: Up to £(Apply online only) per day (Outside IR35)

A fantastic opportunity for a Programme Manager to join a leading insurance business in implementing a new Policy Administration System (PAS). We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager with a strong background in the insurance sector to lead and drive a complex, long-term programme to renew the technology and business processes within the company over the next 2-3 years.  This is a unique opportunity to define governance, optimise processes, and guide the programme from inception to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Leadership: Take charge of overseeing the policy administration system implementation, setting key milestones and ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Governance Set-Up: Establish governance frameworks and structures for seamless programme operations and reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, streamline, and enhance existing processes to maximise efficiency throughout the programme's life cycle.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with the client's objectives.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate and address potential issues or delays proactively to keep the programme on track.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and potential impacts on programme delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

  •  Proactive and Results-Driven: Ability to exceed expectations, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Insurance Experience: Proven track record of managing programmes within the insurance sector.
  • Policy Administration System Implementation: Ideally a background in delivering complex system implementations from inception to completion.
  • Governance and Process Optimisation: Skilled in establishing governance structures and optimising processes for programme success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
