A superb opportunity to join this established property management company who have specialised in Leasehold, Block and Estate Management for many years. This role can be based in their Southend or London office but is a hybrid role working (after initial training) in the office 1-2 days per week and remotely 2-4 days Monday to Friday and with salary up to £40,500 including car allowance.

Operating throughout the country, they work with many regional and national developers. The Block Manager is primarily responsible for the delivery of management services to a portfolio of residential and, where applicable, mixed-use buildings and estates. This role will be the direct interface with the Client/Freeholder and Leaseholders within their portfolio. The role is covering mainly Essex and East London.

The Block Manager may, in cases of a large portfolio, have an assistant property manager to work alongside them and should endeavour to develop the individual’s skills for succession management.

Responsibilities & Duties include

·Property Inspections and Maintenance: Inspections and Reports·Finance: Budgets and Client Accounts·Insurance: Building, Directors and Officers insurance·Meetings: EGMs, AGMs, Directors’ and Residents’ meetings·Correspondence and Administration·Breaches of the Lease·Organising and liaising with Contractors·Property Sales (Assignment of the Lease)·Dealing with Complaints·General Block Management Administration

Candidate requirements:

·Must have previous Leasehold Block Management experience·High Customer services skills·Highly organised and able to prioritise workload·AIRPM/ATPI qualifications is an advantage but not essential·A driving licence and own car is essential for this role

Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Basic salary £33,500 - £40,500 depending on experience, including car allowance.
