Category Manager (Professional Services) | London | £60,000 - £61,000 per annum | Perm | Hybrid (3 days per week in Office)

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in South London, to recruit a Category Manager on a permanent basis.

A strong background in procurement, extensive tendering experience and knowledge of frameworks are essential.

The role offers a hybrid working policy; with 3 days per week required on site for meetings in their South London office.

Role:

  • Provide a proactive category management and procurement service to public sector organisations across London
  • Develop, implement, monitor and review procurement strategies within the Professional Services category area
  • Work with the Contract Management team to maximise contract compliance across the Services, re-engineering systems and processes within all supply chain areas where necessary
  • Produce monthly reports for the Head of Commercial Procurement

Individual:

  • Experience and knowledge of setting up frameworks, interrogating spends and an ability to work autonomously
  • Ideally suited to a candidate with experience and knowledge of public sector regulations
  • CIPS qualified, or relevant experience
