- Oversee and manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance, service, and legal compliance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and landlords, responding to inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure properties are well-maintained.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
- Handle rent collection, ensuring payments are made on time and resolving any arrears efficiently.
- Prepare and manage tenancy agreements, renewals, and other property-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including property safety regulations and tenancy laws.
- Manage tenant disputes, ensuring a professional and timely resolution.
- Regularly report to landlords on the status of their properties, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role within the property sector.
- In-depth knowledge of property management practices, maintenance procedures, and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with tenants and landlords.
- Highly organized, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously, under pressure.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- ARLA qualification is desirable but not required (full training will be provided).
- Full UK driving license is preferred.
- £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
