Job Title: Property ManagerLocation: Canary WharfSalary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)About the Role:A well-established and reputable estate agency is seeking an experienced and dedicated Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties. You will be responsible for ensuring that properties are maintained to high standards, managing landlord and tenant relationships, and providing exceptional service across all aspects of property management. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for individuals looking to grow within the property sector. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance, service, and legal compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and landlords, responding to inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
  • Handle rent collection, ensuring payments are made on time and resolving any arrears efficiently.
  • Prepare and manage tenancy agreements, renewals, and other property-related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including property safety regulations and tenancy laws.
  • Manage tenant disputes, ensuring a professional and timely resolution.
  • Regularly report to landlords on the status of their properties, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role within the property sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of property management practices, maintenance procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with tenants and landlords.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously, under pressure.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ARLA qualification is desirable but not required (full training will be provided).
  • Full UK driving license is preferred.
