We are seeking a highly professional and dynamic Receptionist to join a leading global design firm based in London. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a creative, fast-paced environment. As the face of the firm, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring they experience a warm and professional welcome. You will also take ownership of managing meeting room bookings, supporting event coordination, and assisting with administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the firm’s Ambassador, greeting clients, visitors, and staff with a polished, friendly approach.
  • Managing incoming calls, directing inquiries efficiently and with professionalism.
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring seamless scheduling through digital platforms.
  • Collaborating with the events and hospitality teams to support client meetings, presentations, and internal events.
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are set up and maintained to a high standard, including audiovisual equipment checks.
  • Assisting with diary management, scheduling meetings, and managing logistics for senior staff.
  • Supporting administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and organising post and deliveries.
  • Managing office supplies and ensuring key areas are fully stocked and well-presented.
  • Providing support to PAs and team members with various administrative tasks.
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for clients and staff, ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Assisting in organising and supporting design exhibitions, workshops, and other creative events as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Front of House/Receptionist role, ideally within a corporate or creative environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging with high-profile clients and creative teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced and vibrant environment.
  • A professional telephone manner, immaculate presentation, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience in managing meeting room bookings and using scheduling software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with digital meeting platforms.
  • A passion for working in a creative, design-driven environment and contributing to the firm’s culture.
