Job Summary:
We are seeking an experiencedBar Managerto lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our venues. The ideal candidate will have extensive hospitality experience in London, a strong background in mixology, and excellent leadership skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and maintaining the highest service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring smooth service and exceptional customer experience.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a high-performing and motivated team.
- Conduct disciplinary procedures and manage staff performance when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage stock levels, orders, and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Create and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Ensure that the bar maintains high standards in cocktail preparation and service.
- Develop and update training programmes for staff, with a focus on service excellence and cocktail knowledge.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction through feedback and service improvements.
- Work closely with Head Office team to promote the venue and drive footfall.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and fully operational.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experiencein a managerial role within the hospitality industry in London.
- C1 level of English or higher(fluency required).
- Personal Licence Holdercertification (must provide valid certification).
- First Aid certification(must provide valid certification).
- Strong cocktail knowledge and mixology expertise.
- Proven experience in team management, staff training, and development.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to venue management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Knowledge of health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
