Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness are maintained.
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and implement menus in collaboration with the culinary team, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures to maximise profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events and menu items.
Experience
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
- Strong culinary background with experience in food preparation and kitchen management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership, with excellent supervisory skills.
- Familiarity with bartending practices is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and customers alike.
