Salut! Islington is on the lookout for a motivated, passionate, and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team! We are an independent, modern European restaurant with a seasonal menu and a welcoming atmosphere. Located in the heart of Islington, we offer a unique dining experience, and were looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves working as part of a close-knit team.

About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will bring a passion for hospitality and a strong work ethic, with a proven track record in a similar restaurant management role. You will be enthusiastic about creating a memorable guest experience and confident in overseeing both front and back of house operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead by example, inspiring and managing a dedicated team
Oversee daily operations to ensure excellent guest service
Maintain high standards of health, hygiene, and cleanliness
Deliver consistent and exceptional food and drink service
Have a strong understanding of wine, with WSET Level 2 or higher
Organize and coordinate restaurant activities efficiently
Provide leadership and motivation to all team members
Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
Communicate effectively with both customers and staff
Ensure smooth running of the restaurant during peak hours

Skills & Experience:

Passion for hospitality and a positive, can-do attitude
Proven leadership experience in a similar role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent back-of-house knowledge
Fluent in English
Experience with high standards of health and safety
Strong communication and hosting skills

About Us:
Salut! Islington is a 28-cover, independent restaurant that opened in December 2015. We serve a modern European, seasonal menu and operate Friday to Sunday for lunch and seven days a week for dinner.

The Offer:

Position: Restaurant Manager
Hours: 42 hours per week
Salary: £36,000 per year (including service charge)
Holiday: 28 days per year
Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off
Benefits: Meals on duty
