An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Payments Assistant to join a leading global entertainment company. This role sits within the Talent Payments Team, a central function responsible for processing payments to contributors for both primary production and revenue share from content distribution.Working closely with Production, Sales, Legal, and external partners such as talent unions and music collecting societies, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payments to artists, musicians, and writers.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with processing payments in line with Equity, Musicians’ Union, and Scriptwriters’ Union agreements for both primary and secondary exploitation.
  • Support payments to contributors across a range of productions.
  • Help set up payment structures for third-party productions, including contract numbering and linking contracts to relevant programmes.
  • Maintain and update artiste/agent records and contracts within the payments system.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve payment queries, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Assist with system development and process improvement initiatives within the Talent Payments team.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.

  • Strong numeracy skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Methodical and organised approach to work.
  • Ability to interpret talent union agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate potential issues and resolve them efficiently.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in a production environment.
  • Previous exposure to talent union agreements.
