  • Based within a Secondary School Science Department

Science Technician Key Responsibilities

  • Mixing and making up solutions for lessons
  • Assembling the apparatus for demonstrations according to lesson plans
  • Safe and procedure following waste disposal
  • Trial new activities and experiments before being put into practice within the classroom
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Carry out risk assessments and follow health and safety procedures
  • & much more!

Perfect Science Technician

  • A Science Graduate with experience within a laboratory
  • A good understanding of laboratory safety
  • Knowledge of recent curriculum developments at GCSE and A-Level
  • Great communication skills to liaise with pupils, teachers and other technicians
  • Brilliant Attention to detail
  • Aspiring Science Teachers!
  • Must have a Science related degree, 2.1 or above from a reputable university
