We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our dynamic team and inspire the next generation of young athletes.

The Role:As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to post-16 education if applicable. You will play a key role in fostering a love for physical activity, encouraging teamwork, and promoting a healthy lifestyle among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and activities.
  • Develop students' skills, fitness, and understanding of health and well-being.
  • Organise and support extra-curricular sports clubs, teams, and competitions.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive sporting culture within the school.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all students during PE activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and wider school initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have a degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Be passionate about sport and inspiring young people.
  • Have excellent communication and leadership skills.
