Do you have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN)?A large Secondary school based in Greenwich are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team for this academic year.As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students. In this role your time would be mainly spent in KS3 and KS4. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support for students with SEN, help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, and assisting the class teacher with various tasks.To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working with primary-aged students and a good understanding of SEN. You should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.The role as a Learning Support Assistant
- Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
- Working 1:1, identify and respond appropriately to challenging individual needs
