Administration Assistant
Central London | 6-month contract | £125 to £200 per day inside IR35

The Opportunity:

A London-based train operating company will transition from Private to Public Ownership in July 2025, marking a period of intense activity across multiple workstreams. To support this transition, Ford & Stanley Interim is seeking a highly organised Administration Assistant to join our client's Public Ownership Transfer Programme team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take accurate meeting notes, capture key actions, gain stakeholder approval, and circulate as required.
  • Track and chase actions to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage diaries and coordinate meetings across multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain the Control Log, tracking correspondence, actions, approvals, and availability.
  • Act as the main conduit for tracking and updating items in the DfT’s ‘Award’ system, ensuring governance compliance.
  • Work with the Project Team to maintain an activities and deliverables tracker.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Ability to take clear and concise meeting notes efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with a diplomatic yet assertive approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
