The Role
We are currently recruiting for a great business who are hiring for a Hard Service Engineering Manager who is consistently driven to deliver the M&E obligations we have under the hard FM contract at a commercial site in City of London. With this opportunity you will providing line management duties for an engineering team of 8. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of maintenance schedules and lead and manage all planned maintenance activity on site. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a first-class team working in partnership with a top corporate client.
The Responsibilities
Delivery of services to the highest of standards, and ensuring effective management of the staff and having the provision of excellent customer service.
To assisting with the effective management of M&E Performance, including the incurrence of financial penalties, to ensure that all services are delivered to the contract specification
Ensure contract compliance with all auditing bodies both internal and external
To ensure appropriate training provisions on induction and use of equipment and to identifytraining needs for the service
Establish appropriate training provisions on induction and use of equipment, and identification of the training needs for the service.
Management of all associated subcontracted services and to ensure that subcontractors are able to carry out their duties in a safe and timely manner
Champion continuous improvement, energy efficiency and environmental improvements
Being second hand to the Senior Operations Manager, Hard Services in their absence
Experience and Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Electrical
P&L Management Experience
Experience as a Manager in Maintenance & Engineering
Good knowledge of Building Services.
Great time management skills
Excellent problem solving skills
