Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Early Help Family Support Practitioner for a local authority client based in East London.

In this role, you will provide tailored, child-centred support to families with complex needs, delivering interventions, coordinating multi-agency services, and assisting parents to improve outcomes for their children.

Key Duties:

  • Assess family needs, create support plans, and provide targeted parenting support through home visits and group work.
  • Act as Lead Professional, collaborate with health, education, and social care services, and lead Team Around the Child meetings.
  • Ensure child protection policies are followed, maintain accurate case records, and adhere to GDPR regulations.
  • Deliver parenting programmes, attend multi-agency meetings, and work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience working with children and families, delivering parenting support, and providing targeted interventions.
  • Proven ability to coordinate services, lead Team Around the Child meetings, and work with professionals across sectors.
  • Skilled in using outcome-based methods to support families and improve child development.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, following safeguarding policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

What's on offer:

Salary: £20+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
