Primary Learning Support Assistant | (Long Term Contract)
Lambeth, London (CR4)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant school community in Lambeth on a long-term contract. In this role, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs, helping to create an inclusive and stimulating educational environment. Your responsibilities will include working closely with classroom teachers to deliver tailored support, assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and fostering positive relationships with students to promote their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their learning activities, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and can engage fully in classroom tasks.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in monitoring and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student confidence and independence.
  • Support students during break times, extracurricular activities, and school outings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role in a primary school setting.
