Residential & Outreach Support Worker for Children and Young People
Working Hours: Average 36 hours per week, 156 hours per month, shift work across 365 days per year
Sleep-in Allowance: Included
Shift work: Across 7 days a week, including Christmas, New Year, and other bank holidays
We are currently recruiting for passionate individuals to join a pioneering team delivering both residential and outreach support to children and young people on the edge of care. About the Role:
As a Residential & Outreach Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, day-to-day care for vulnerable children in a family-based environment that fosters positive attachments and relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of professionals and families to understand and support each child's life experience.
- Provide direct care and support to children and young people, ensuring their emotional, physical, and social needs are met.
- Create a nurturing, safe environment that helps children feel secure and cared for.
- Offer 1-to-1 outreach support, working directly with children, young people, and families in the community and their homes.
- Help to foster development and build meaningful connections that promote stability and growth.
About You:
To be considered for this role, you must have at least a Level 3 qualification in Caring for Young People or equivalent. You will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people. The role requires someone who is empathetic, resilient, and dedicated to offering the highest quality of care.
