Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Personal Advisor for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will provide essential support and guidance to care leavers, helping them transition to independent adulthood by developing tailored support plans, building strong relationships, and connecting them to valuable community resources.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Build supportive, trusting relationships with care leavers, helping them develop independence skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Create and review individual Pathway Plans, working with other agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each care leaver.
  • Conduct regular visits to monitor safety and progress, providing practical assistance in areas like housing, education, and employment.
  • Keep accurate case records, stay informed on policies and best practices, and actively participate in training to deliver high-quality, inclusive care.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience working directly with young people, especially in a support or advisory capacity.
  • Experience in conducting assessments and developing action plans for young people.
  • Competence in managing a caseload independently, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in working collaboratively with other agencies, such as housing, education, and healthcare providers.

What's on offer:

Salary: £20+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
