Location: Central London
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + package
Engineered Connections is seeking a skilledSeniorEstimatorwith a strong track record in luxury residential construction. This is an exciting opportunity to join our client, a leading main contractor specialising in bespoke refurbishments and developments valued up to £20m. Youll play a pivotal role in delivering prestigious properties by producing accurate cost estimates and supporting the tender process for exceptional high-end residential projects.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for high-end residential projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs.
- Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop comprehensive tender documentation.
- Assess risks, price variations, and ensure appropriate contingencies are included in estimates.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing for bespoke materials and services.
- Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and design teams to ensure cost estimates align with project budgets and goals.
- Attend client meetings and presentations, confidently communicating cost breakdowns and tender proposals.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive database of rates, suppliers, and subcontractor contacts tailored to the luxury residential sector.
- Proven experience as aSeniorEstimator,within the luxury residential or high-end construction market.
- Strong expertise in pricing bespoke materials, finishes, and high-specification requirements.
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, or similar).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Familiarity with JCT contracts and procurement strategies for high-end residential projects.
- Relevant qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, or a related discipline are advantageous.
