A lovely, community Primary School in Barnet is looking to appoint a trained ABA Tutor to support a child with autism on a 1 to 1 basis as they join the school.

The Role

In this ABA tutor role you will be supporting a child with a diagnosis of autism who has been home-schooled for the past year and is integrating back in to mainstream schooling. The child will be attending school 2 mornings a week and has a specific requirement to have ABA as part of their education. 

The school are looking for and ABA trained teaching assistant who can bring their training and experience to deliver 1:1 sessions using ABA and support the child in their all-round development. You will be required to provide progress report and feedback for the school and the parents. 

Whilst the child will only be attending school over two mornings, the role is offered for two full days to allow time for planning and preparation, meetings and support for other pupils within the school with autism as required.
