We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Electrical Installation and Maintenance for our clients Apprenticeship team. This role involves teaching Level 3 City and Guilds 5357 - Installation and Maintenance Electrical Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will deliver both theoretical and practical lessons, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for our apprentices.

Day-to-day of the role of an Electrical Installation Lecturer:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Electrical Installation and Maintenance to apprentices.
  • Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum.
  • Assess and evaluate apprentices' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of apprentices' attendance, progress, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and learning resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications needed for the Electrical Installation Lecturer position:
  • Qualified to at least Level 3 in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or a related subject area.
  • Hold a full teaching qualification, such as PGCE, Cert Ed, or DTLLS.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Qualification in English and Maths at Level 2.
  • Desirable: Hold an AM2 qualification.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring apprentices or students in a related field.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
