A fantastic opportunity within a manufacturing environment to play an integral part in connecting the inner workings of this operation together.
The Role
You'll working with data, people and products. Preparing production reports, communicating with the wider production, commercial and financial operations ensuring key visibility for the SLT. From stock and materials to labour efficiency, this a fundamental role in data provision and decision making.
Essentially, challenging the status quo is the norm in this role, identifying the variances, being one step ahead, always with a finger on the pulse of production.
The unique element of this role is the nature of the business partnering. It's a blend of finance, management information and materials control. A core focus being on the materials planning and control.
However, the financial elements are also fundamental in the success of this role. Particularly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
The Candidate
Much of the financial piece are skills gaps that can be bridged however some grounding in finance is essential. Ideal would be Management Accounts and Production Accounting. You'll also be needing to show a strong understanding through experienced gained in a manufacturing operation.
We're talking Bills of Material / Materials Planning / Materials Control. Labour Analysis / Costing / Forecasting
This is a role that a skills based hiring approach will be prevalent. Not all skills we know can be acquired in this unique blend however there's a keen willingness to bridge those skill gaps that can be bridged
