On behalf of my client, I am seeking an E-Marketing & Events Executive to join their team. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and executing e-marketing campaigns to drive engagement, increase sales, and enhance customer retention. Additionally, the role involves managing and coordinating events and catalogue production.

Location: East Suffolk

Job Type: Full-time 8:30-5pm and fully office based (no hybrid working)

Salary: Circa 34k DOE

Full clean Driving license required

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies to drive retention, win back customers, nurture leads, and promote products.
  • Create compelling and personalised email content using templates, with a focus on copywriting and asset coordination.
  • Segment email lists based on customer data and behaviour to deliver targeted messaging.
  • Manage and develop content plans, writing effective and engaging copy in line with brand guidelines.
  • Optimise email templates for impact and deliverability.
  • Oversee and improve the customer journey.
  • Monitor email performance metrics and use insights to optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on email marketing best practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate events and exhibitions.
  • Coordinate key catalogue and brochure production through all stages, including product selection, pagination planning, creative stages, and final print.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of CRM and experience using ESPs.
  • B2C Email Marketing
  • Exceptional creative writing skills with impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Experience with A/B testing to improve email content and calls to action.
  • Strong data analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and maintain a flexible approach to meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in a similar role for 5+ years.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing and automation.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CANVA, and Photoshop.
  • GCSEs Grade A-C in Maths and English / A-levels/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • HND or Degree in Marketing is desirable.
