Assistant Management Accountant – LutonAre you a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team in Luton.The Role: As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to support month-end reporting, financial analysis, and day-to-day financial processes. This role is perfect for someone who is actively studying ACCA, CIMA, or AAT and looking for a progressive career in finance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Process staff credit card and cash expenses from start to finish
  • Handle purchase invoices and support supplier payment runs
  • Prepare month-end payroll journals and reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial analysis
  • Support quarterly VAT computations
  • Provide assistance during year-end audits
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support financial operations
  • Carry out ad hoc finance tasks as required
About You:
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT (actively studying)
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
  • Experience working in a fast-paced SME environment
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One or similar ERP systems is essential
  • Understanding of payroll processes is an advantage
