A senior field sales role promoting an industry leading range of roofline building materials in to national house builders and regional developers across the South of England. You will be winning developments from existing accounts with national agreements in place, as well as winning projects and agreements with new national and regional house builders.

The Role - Business Development Manager:

  • Promoting a leading range of roofline building materials that includes fascia, soffits, guttering, window boards and cladding
  • You will be tracking and winning developments with national house builders and regional developers across the South
  • There are agreements in place with a number of national and regional house builders, that you will get to develop and win business from
  • Whilst of course looking to identify and win new house builder accounts
  • All business won will be back-sold through an established network of merchants and distributors
  • Colleagues will manage the relationship day-to-day, but you will keep in touch with the key branches you are back-selling through

The Successful Applicant - Business Development Manager:

  • Most importantly you will have a proven track record of working with and selling into national house builders or regional developers
  • My client is completely open to where this experience has been gained
  • You may of course be coming from the building materials sector, but could equally be coming from KBB, interiors, bathrooms, plumbing, heating, electrical…
  • Just as long as you possess strong relationship and rapport building skills, and are proactive and self-motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills
