New Business Development Manager
My client is an established industry leader in the EPOS industry in the UK and are now looking for a New Business Development Manager. The New Business Development Manager will contribute to their growth by achieving assigned sales targets with new clients and growing existing accounts.
Location: Hybrid. This role is mostly remote. Client visits when necessary. You will only be asked to come into the Hertfordshire office for training and meetings.
Salary: Dependant on experience. TBD
Qualifications:Degree Level preferable, but not essential.
Experience: This New Business Development Manager role would be suited for candidates with at least 4+ years previous experience in a sales role with a proventrack record of success as a New Business Development Manager selling EPOS Solutions or other B2B Technology.
Key skills:
This is primarily a New Business Development Manager role (70%) with some account management (30%).
Relevant sales experience, dealing with corporate clients and selling B2B technology
Experience of preparing and presenting winning bespoke software and digital solutions.
Energy and passion to generate sales leads using different channels including direct calling, digital marketing and networking.
Effective people skills to build long term client relationships.
Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills
A pro-active and creative approach to selling new technology / software
A good level of written and numerical skills and good proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Familiarity with the use of CRM systems for recording sales activities, planning and reporting.
Duties:
The New Business Development Manager must take ownership of its performance and develop a clear strategy to meet its sales targets. Expected duties of the role:
Achieve assigned sales targets.
Obtain sufficient knowledge and understanding of prospective clients and assigned accounts, conduct appropriate research, and segment it to plan and execute effective sales activities.
Meet KPI’s for client contact, client meetings and sales pipeline.
Generate leads using different channels, including telephone calling, online and face to face meetings, digital marketing and networking.
Record all the activities of the assigned accounts into our CRM system, prepare reports for all client meetings and regularly submit sales forecasts and sales activity reports.
Direct and create commercial proposals.
