Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos outfit, with new business contracts across the South East and Home Counties. They are looking to add an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to their well-established workforce. The ideal applicant will have good access to the M1 and / or the M25 for more convenient travel. It would also be desirable to have strong client-facing experience and must be comfortable discussing technical matters with customers directly. They are offering competitive salaries and robust packages.
The role will involve travel across: Luton, Dunstable, St Albans, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Enfield, Ilford, Romford, Southall, Slough, Aylesbury, Oxford, Didcot, Bicester, Buckingham, Brackley, Towcester, Bletchley, Bedford, Sandy, Biggleswade, Cambridge, St Neots, Saffron Walden, Bishop's Stortford, Harlow, Braintree, Newmarket, Huntington, Wellingborough, Northampton.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited company
- Must hold the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Experienced in producing detailed written survey reports
- Strong technical knowledge
- IT literate
- Good time-keeping skills
- Professional manner
The Role:
- Conducting Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across domestic and commercial client sites
- Writing detailed asbestos survey reports for clients, including relevant site plans
- Collecting samples from site in a safe manner
- Working in accordance with HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Travelling to client sites and upholding strong working relationships with clients
- Ensuring to complete work within agreed time-frames and making sure to meet / exceed targets
- Travelling as required by company needs
