Distinct Recruitment is thrilled to be working wiith a reputable nationwide company in the search for an Interim Finance Business Partner. This is an excellent short-term contract opportunity (three to six months) for professionals seeking a new challenge.

The ideal candidate should be ready to start on short notice. The position is based on the outskirts of Leicestershire, offering a hybrid work arrangement that includes just two days a week in the office and the rest working remotely.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation. It is essential that you have previously run a budgeting process across multiple sites.

 You will work closely with various departments and senior stakeholders to ensure effective financial planning. Your ability to forge strong relationships will be crucial as you provide strategic, data-driven insights to support operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive budgeting and forecasts
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Analyse financial data to pinpoint risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Play a key role in financial reporting and cost management

This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset who enjoys diving deep into financial data to generate actionable insights. 

About You:

We seek candidates who are fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have substantial experience and qualifications by experience (QBE) in financial management. A proven track record in budgeting (multi-site), forecasting, and financial reporting is essential, along with advanced Excel skills. The successful candidate should be ready to make an immediate impact.
