Your new firmAn established Accountancy firm are seeking an Audit Senior to support their growing audit client base, based in their Macclesfield office. Specialising in the support of local clients across a wide range of industries, this firm provides a wide range of audit, accounting, payroll, and business management services. Currently employing over 40 expert staff, they are invested in their employee growth and development. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a role in a thriving accountancy firm. Your new roleAs Audit Senior, you will be involved in the full audit cycle from planning through to presentation of reports. You will support the Audit Manager to plan and execute audits for a diverse and growing client base and you will manage the onsite audit team to deliver an efficient audit service. You will be also responsible for building and maintaining client relationships. You will be involved in the review of trainees work and the management of the wider team. What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the full audit cycle within a practice environment. Ideally you will currently be AAT/ATT qualified or be studying towards an accountancy qualification. Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role. This position will require you to be able to work as part of a team, as well as the ability to lead and manage people. What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £28,000 and £36,000 dependant on experience.
