Axon Moore is seeking a Commercial Financial Controller for a high-growth manufacturing business in Macclesfield, with a salary range of £72,000 - £76,000 plus a 15% bonus.
The role requires a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in manufacturing and strong business partnering skills.
As the Financial Controller, you will support strategic decision-making and manage a small team while delivering high-quality management information to the Group.
Key responsibilities include providing commercial analysis, improving efficiencies on the shop floor, and developing financial forecasts and budgets.
Candidates must have excellent people skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, as well as a proven track record in driving growth and profitability.

Commercial Financial ControllerAxon Moore are supporting an exciting and high growth manufacturing business in sourcing a high calibre, commercially focused Financial Controller to act as site number 1 alongside the MD. After making a number of acquisitions, our client are embarking on a signficiant growth journey of which you will be the driving the site forward alongside a well renowned MD. As Commercial Financial Controller, you will be taking ownership of delivering high quality MI to Group whilst supporting strategic decision making as well managing a small team. Please note, we will only consider those with a background in manufacturing at this stage.Salary - £72,000 - £76,000 + 15% BonusLocation – Macclesfield, 3 days per week on site Main duties as Commercial Financial Controller

Providing commercial analysis to the MD and Group to support strategic decisions
Acting as true business partner to operations to drive growth and profitibility
Being on the 'shop floor' close to production to improve efficiences
Supporting company financial model and 5 year plan
Forecasting and budgeting
Presenting financial results to the wider business and stakeholders
Developing the monthly board pack including variance analysis
Strong market awareness to recognise external business opportunities

Person Specification

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experience within manufacturing is a must
Excellent people skills
Strong business partnering skills
Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
