The Senior Tax Accountant Role:
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will manage corporate and personal tax returns, working closely with managers and partners. You'll be responsible for handling HMRC queries, mentoring junior team members, and building strong relationships with clients. In addition to tax compliance, this role offers the chance to expand your expertise into advisory work, such as R&D tax credits, capital allowances, and transactional tax planning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a corporate tax background looking to broaden their experience and gain managerial skills.
Senior Tax Accountant - Essential Skills:
- Experience with corporate and/or personal tax.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and submitting tax returns.
- Experience or interest in tax advisory work (R&D, capital allowances, etc.).
- Supervisory experience or an interest in mentoring junior staff.
- Professional qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent experience.
