This friendly team within a school in Maidenhead, are looking to recruit an Executive Assistant on a full-time basis. This is a crucial and important role within the school, and there will be various role that will need to be completed on time, potentially on the same day, or same week. There is full training provided but then after usually a 6-month period, the successful individual will be able to manage and prioritise their own workload, with minimum supervision.
We have worked with this school for a number of years and placed many teachers, assistants and support staff. The majority of which, are still there! This really is a tight team within a Special Needs School; however this role is not a student facing one.Â
You will be managing EHCP's and putting together various data, all of which will be trained and supported. Here is some more information about the role.
This is l, a pioneering all-age Special Free School for children with autism, in an exciting and rewarding role as a School Executive Assistant. This position offers the opportunity to support the Headteacher and contribute to a school dedicated to providing a high level of therapeutic support and excellent teaching, enabling pupils with autism to achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide high-level administrative support to the Headteacher, handling a variety of tasks that facilitate the Headteacher's ability to effectively lead the school.
- Manage complex schedules and calendars, arrange meetings, and provide reminders.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Act as a point of contact among executives, employees, parents, and other external partners.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Support the Headteacher in managing projects and follow-up with team members where required.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative support role in educational settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management software.
- Must agree to an enhanced DBS check.
